Wifi 6 Booster - for 2.4 GHz

How do I get 2.4 GHz at my current internet right now? As I just recently bought a vacuum robot and it will just connect with 2.4 GHz. Pls help! 🙂

I have the Boost Wifi 6, probably the Telus Wifi Hub? Not really sure.

Thanks @TuxedoCat - So if you log in to your Wi-Fi 6 GUI you can navigate to Administration on the left-hand side> Easy Mesh at the top right> and you can disable Band Steering there.

How do you log into the wi fi 6 if it needs user names and passwords what do u use.

To clarify, are you referring to the wifi network or the router GUI? Both can be found on stickers on the device itself.

 

For Wifi:

 

Default Network Name (SSID): The network name should be visible when you search for Wi-Fi networks on your device. It usually includes "TELUS" in the name.

Password: The default Wi-Fi password for your TELUS Booster should be printed on a label on the device itself. Look for a sticker on the bottom or side of the Booster.

Connecting:

  • Select the TELUS Wi-Fi network name on your device.
  • Enter the password found on the Booster's label.

For the remote GUI the username is usually "admin" and the password printed on the underside of the device.

So when I try to log into the wfi 6 booster the Authentication page comes up what user name and password do I use it doesnt accept anything I put in there.

so I have tried my login for mytelus,I have tried Telus3994 and the password on the modem, ive tried admin and password and ive tried admin and the serial number

You may need to factory reset the devices and try again. If you're logging into the device GUI, the Username and Password combination printed on the device itself will get you in (unless it's been changed).
