Till June 2024, in my old place, for 3 years I had TELUS PureFibre (for a great montly rate) but when I moved to Langley Meadows I had to opt for TELUS cable internet. In Dec 2024, a TELUS representative came to my door and offerred free upgrade to TELUS PureFibre (recently installed in the community), with no additional monthly cost and also sold me Smart Home Security products for a good rate as well. He said someone will contact regarding the upgrade but its been 2 months now and nobody reached out. When I contacted the TELUS Loyalty department now on this matter, they are offering my upgrade to PureFibre for almost double the cost of the cable internet plan I have. No respect for loyalty. Anybody in the community faced this problem?
Similar experience back in Sep 2024 when my TELUS mobility rate was increased overnight I reached out to multiple departments in TELUS (loyalty, sales), only to know that I cannot get back the old rate and then I decided to move to Bell. 1 week after I moved to Bell got a call from TELUS offering me discounted TELUS mobility plans. Frustrating!
