I have had several days of large unexplained dats usage increases over the last three months. We have one less cell phone being used during that time with no additional devices in the house, Anybody have any ideas? Beginning to think someone may be jacking my wifi

The Telus My Wi-Fi app shows the which devices are using the most data. I found it quite useful. More info here:

If you feel someone is siphoning your Wi-Fi, a simple change of password will fix that. You can change the password using the My Wifi app, or the web admin panel of your router. Access the router at 192.168.1.254 and use the credentials printed on the router itself.

Any OS updates during that time? I had a spike last month due to 3 computers downloading Windows upstate 2004 automatically.

I have my modem bridged so all traffic goes through my google wifi.  According to Telus I used 1.2TB of data on the 2nd but according to google wifi my internet usage was approx 20GB down and slightly over 2GB upload. That is a 55 times diparity in numbers.

Looking at other days their data is all over the place and is no way reflective of actual usage.

On the 2nd my dynamic IP changed so maybe they are counting someone elses usage?
