The cabinet in my home where the network access hub is installed, is a total mess of cables. I can barely get the cover on. Telus left it like this after installation. Can I get them to come back and tidy this up and get rid of the mess of excess cable, or is anything within my property my landlord’s responsibility?

You could definitely reach out to the installer (contact info should've been left) to see if they can come back!

Most of those cables are non Telus cables and were pre-existing. Those would be landlord / owner responsibility. There are two, if not three coaxial splitters and a mess of coax cable there. It's an unusually large number unless you have a 2000+ sqft house with coax outlets in every room. You or the landlord may want to go through the wiring there and determine if there is anything that can be disconnected. The blue ethernet lines could have RJ45 ends added to them so that you can connect them to the Telus NAH there and have hardwired connections if there are ethernet jacks in your place.
