Internet transfer

Claudel
Just Moved In

I am looking to move to a new apartment that offer free internet since it is a new build. I currently have a 2 years internet contract with about 15 months left on it. I understand that if I cancel my service I will have to pay penalty fee for cancelling before end of contract.

Can I transfer the internet to my new apartment for the free offer?

or

Can I transfer the internet to the name of the new tenant moving into my old place?

The “free” internet offer is not transferable to your current contract. You’re responsible for the penalties, if you cancel your current contract.

You’re responsible for your service. You can’t transfer to the next tenant to get out of the contact. They’ll be offered their own deal.
