Credit Balance on Account - after MONTHS

Hello - 

A few months ago I cancelled my service. 
I have a negative balance. 

I was told that amount would be credited to me after a few billing cycles. 

I keep getting bills, the negative balance stays the same. 

I would like the credit returned to me.
