I want to only connect my devices using WiFi. But I could plug one of my Boosters in using a cable. I'm thinking this would provide better service at that location. But I'm wondering if it is OK to use a cable for a Booster and if indeed there would be better service.

Yes. You can. I have the new wifi 6 hub and booster. The Telus technician plugged the booster to cable in the setup and it is working flawlessly.
