Hi all

I have Telus WIFI HUB router (looks like a fat white can); I need 2.4ghz! It currently only broadcasting 5ghz. Why cant telus be like all other router makers and separate the 2 frequencies!!!

It has been a while, and I do not have access to my Hub at the moment, but you should be able to manage splitting the SSID into 2 separate parts in the Webmin panel at 192.168.1.254. Turn off Smart Steering. You should be able to do similar using the Telus Connect App on your phone.

This for the Boost device, if you have it as a separate device:

You can change this in the Webmin page, and possibly through the app. I've always don it through the Webmin portal. First fin the IP address of the device from the list of devices in your router admin page at 192.168.1.254. It is usually listed as BoostXXX. Then login to the admin panel at that IOP address using the credentials under the cover of the Wi-Fi Hub. In there there should be the option to turn off Smart Steering, giving you two separate SSID.

There should be a similar option in the
