Telus support number spoofing.
I just recieved a call from Telus support 1- 844-422-0222. How on earth do they only greet me using my first name and not use the for Mr greeting and last name. And then ask me whether I'm currently with shaw. I think this number has been spoofed. Because after I just hung up. I called it back and then a recorded voice said " Welcome to Kudo mobile". Then it redirected my call and what I heard was shocking. I must have been accidentally routed into a group call and heard laughing and explicit sex talk and drug interaction talk. I dod not dare to talk so that they would here me. Address this situation please and maybe monitor the security of the numbers you give to the public for support. This is an outrage and I'm worried about my personal security with Telus now in how infiltrators possibly breached Telus security.

If you have Telus for phone service, enable Call Control. It blocks all of the scam robocalls like that automatically.
That number you posted is more often associated with scams and isn't listed on Telus's or Koodo's website. The fact that they didn't know that Shaw hasn't existed for some time now is one red flag that it's a scam. Also if "Telus Support" called you and the number points back to Koodo, that's another big red flag that it's a scam. Plus 'support' wouldn't be calling you to try get you to sign up for Telus.
A real Telus call center would know if you have certain services with Telus already. You're better off calling Telus based on the contact number on Telus.com's contact page and not the possibly fake toll free number on the call display. This type of scam call has been around for years. It has been posted about online and on local news (CBC, CTV, Global, etc.)
These scam call centres can get your info from many sources. Use your phone number to sign up for some online service or a contest? Ever use your name and number with any of the thousands of websites that have had massive data breaches? Ever use it with any of the social media platforms? Congrats, they have it now. The scammers also have call lists they share with each other.
These scams aren't limited to Telus either. Rogers/Shaw and Bell are also affected.
Lastly, call centres addressing individuals by their first name rather than their full name and title (Mr/Ms/Mx/Mrs/Mme/Dr/Rev/Prof/etc.) is common. The majority of the call centres across many industries in Canada I've dealt with tend to refer to me by first name only and on less common occurrences, first and last name.
