No VPN is active on my iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS 26.2. After about 2 minutes of spinning the app responds with "Login failed due to a network connection error."

Hi erover - sorry to hear that you're having issues. Can you tell us what troubleshooting steps you've followed so we can go from there?
Delete and re-install app, and restart the phone.
