SmartHome app issue

Anyone else have the issue where your SmartHome app never opens, I’ve spent a couple hours with support where they got me to login on the web. Then I could open the SmartHome app after that, but now back to the same ol’ song and dance of it never opening, you would think that the developers would have this figured out by now I can’t be the only one with an apple phone 

  • I can find numerous posts regarding failure of the Smarthome app to open, regardless of whether the user is using iOS or Android. One Reddit post I found that helped is the need to migrate credentials [assuming you had them under Alarm.com]:
    1) Go to the support tab under your main Telus login page

    2) Search/Click on how to migrate my credentials and follow the steps
    3) It will ask you to provide the credentials you are using to access your alarm.com system
    4) Once you follow the steps and it shows you that the migration has been successful you will be able to log back in using the My Telus Smart Home App.
