Phishing or spoofing or ?
They're spoofing the phone number. If they're the automated calls, they're easy to block. Telus offers Call Control. It's very effective at blocking the automated spam calls and best of all it's free.

I don't know what happened to the content of my post but here's a brief version. It seems that someone is spoofing or phishing "Telus Technical". I've received three calls in as many weeks, no messages and when I picked up the last, no answer. Talked to Telus twice and they say they are not calling me. But here's the kicker, when I click on the name in my recents, I am connected to Telus. I'm really baffled so I wonder if anyone has experienced same or similar.

Okay, will try that. Must admit that I don't understand the purpose of the calls unless it's to give Telus some grief. I've called twice and today it cost them five movies. Anyway, thanks very much for your reply.
