New $5 security system maintenance fee charge
Would someone be able to explain to me just what I get for this new $5 security system maintenance fee. I can't find any info on the Telus site what this is for. Thanks
Hi all. I did get a phone call from someone higher up in the food chain. I am an old ADT customer and I have a DSC security/alarm system. Apparently Telus has implemented this fee for the "legacy" customers to provide maintenance as there are only limited techs that still work on these systems. DSC only discontinued this system last year. Here's the thing... if I want maintenance or service I have to phone a third party alarm company as Telus security service department will not work on my system if I have a problem. There was further discussion but that's the bottom line as was explained to me.
The same here. Increasing bill by 5$ as maintenance fee plus last month partial fee for the same reason. An additional 10% under new term. Not even sending heads up on that. This is an extorsion
