Glass shatter sensor
How do you bypass the glass shatter sensor?
To bypass a glass break sensor, you can try these steps:
- At the main security screen, select the Disarmed page.
- Choose the sensor(s) you want to bypass.
- Click Arm Stay or Arm Away.
- Your system is now armed with the selected sensor(s) bypassed.
One important point to remember of course, is that bypassed sensors offer no protection and cannot cause an alarm. So just want to keep that in mind, and remember to reverse this if needed.

Hi Lana - at which point are you trying to bypass the sensor? When arming stay? Away? What's the purpose of the bypass?
- when we are away, we have a new puppy and he barked whined, something at the right frequency, and set off our alarm
