Received email to update MY TELUS app

Hi I received an email suggesting I update MY TELUS app as I'm using an outdated method.  I checked that the version I am using on my iPhone is v4.99.5 and it is current.  I emailed Telus to check to see if it was a spoof email, but they came back saying it was legit.  Did anyone else receive this?
