Communication problems
I recently was sold home services from an agent that was not available in my service area at the time. I cancelled the services the day after installation. There was an outstanding balance of 26.10$ that I was unaware of. I found an email from a collection agency in my junk folder threatening a credit score hit if the balance wasn’t paid. I received no email no message through the app or paper billing saying I had an outstanding balance. Just a email from a collection agency. I called Telus to report the problem and was told I would get a call from an account manager within 48 hours to discuss. It’s been a week and a half and no call. I have been a loyal mobility customer for over 25 years and Telus hits me with a credit ding over 26$ I didn’t know about, and they don’t follow through with calling to sort it out. So hey Telus. You can say good bye to a long time customer over 26$ and the inability of your support team to call and sort things out

Hey Richardt2 - really sorry this happened, I can see why you’d be upset, especially over something like a $26 balance and after being a customer for so long. That’s definitely not the experience we want for you, and the lack of follow-up after you were told to expect a call isn’t okay either. We’d like to look into what happened here and help get this sorted out. Look out for a PM from us!
