Telus cancellation fees
We have been with Vivint since 2015. Our initial contract of 5 years expired and we began paying month to month and did not sign a new term contract. We have decided to cancel our security services as we are moving and Telus is charging us a $280 cancellation fee. According to Telus our “ contract” was automatically renewed and therefore we are canceling early. We did not agree to any new contract nor did we receive any notice to indicate this was happening. What are my options ?
