So the additional hour that was supposed to be added automatically to 'New' programs on the Golf Channel: CH925 doesn't always work... Last instance today CH925: 09:00-11:30 PGA Tour of Champions fai...

when I had the PVR. I was able to set up recording golf by recording PGA or LPGA. How do I do that now with the new TV digital box?

Hi Kim3 , well that depends who within TELUS you ask...
It SHOULD be as simple as pressing the record button twice to create a series record but not with TELUS.
Despite what you can read in previous comments in this post from helpful KHR last December, my last interaction recently with whoever is @TELUS_Support said the LPGA and PGA were not classified as a 'Series' so a 'Series Recording' could not be created? Contradicting each other within TELUS...
I do set set a 'Series Recording' for the LPGA events on Golf channel 925. BUT it does not always record each round, so you may get Day 1 and then Day 3 but miss 2 and 4. Absolutely ridiculous but I have use the LPGA or PGA app to see what, when and which channel the program will be broadcast on.
Couple of things to point out. TELUS is not able to record across channels for any series recording. Golf often switches within a tournament so maybe Day 3 is on NBC sports. Well on this platform this wouldn't be recorded as of now.
You have no doubt noticed there is no option for adding recording time 'manually' either which is ridiculous too.
According to TELUS, live sporting events (Golf in this case) will (or is supposed to) add 1 hour recording time IF it is displayed in the channel as 'LIVE'. Programs listed as 'NEW' will not add the extra hour. But even this I found doesn't always work. I have missed many endings because of an overrun, or the last hour was broadcast on a different channel.
I'm just another frustrated customer like you, but hope this helps a little 😉
