Random white specks (can also be called "sparklies" or "snow").
I have a brand new Samsung S95F and I'm getting random white specks. To get ride of them I have to restart my Telus TV+ Android STB. I'm using new ultra high speed certified HDMI cables going to a Sony AV receiver STR-DN1040. Any idea what's causing that? HDMI compatibility problem with my old receiver? Thank you!
If restarts temporarily resolve the issue, there's often some other underlying issue. Try isolating the receiver and go direct from the box to the TV to eliminate any variables and see if that helps.
