Open DNS for one device
Hi and thanks in advance for any help. We just got my son his first laptop. I would like to use open dns to filter adult and mature content. To do this, I would like to set up one wifi ssid for h...
Wouldn't the easier to set the DNS in Windows to filter this content for their laptop? That way, they won't be exposed to the content you are trying to keep them from when they are using WiFi at a friends place, library, or hotspoting their mobile device.
Can I do that in the network settings? I thought DNS was set on the wifi router…. But yes, that would be far easier. I’ll give it a shot.

Their guide uses the Google DNS as their example. Just swap that with the DNS server info of your choice.
