Land Line to Modem
Can I hook my landline directly to my modem using one of the ports on the back?
Although I could be wrong, I don't believe that would work Kenoradave, you may need a splitter/filter that plugs into the wall port. It'll be best to give them a call in this case.

What are you trying to accomplish?

When the tech came to install my fibre modem he unplugged my landline from the wall and ran a wire from the landline plug into the modem. Now I don't have a landline although it is part of my Telus plan. I saw a schematic suggesting a landline handset could be plugged into the modem, thereby restoring my service. I wondered if that was true?
