A fix i found on this issue was adding a UDP only port in the admin settings on your router for the steam version cod. (27000-27100) with the destination ip as the computer you are trying to play on. I did this a couple days ago and haven't had any issues since. I also play on pc with a family member on Xbox, both are hardwired and haven't had any connection errors. I started having this issue when they installed the wifi 6 equipment, but was fine on their older equipment.
