Thank you for the suggestion Rocky3, but no luck unfortunately.
Warnings for the site were turned off, when I enabled warnings I got a button to continue to site, but this only resulted in a message saying that the site returned no data.
Clicking on the Not Secure (view site information) lead me to a link for Securely browse the web in Microsoft Edge | Microsoft Support which says:
"Not fully secure (no valid certificate) Indicator for websites that are not secure
This website doesn't have a valid certificate. The information sent to and from it is not secure and can be intercepted by an attacker or seen by others. There's a risk to your personal data when sending or receiving information from this site.
If possible, contact the website owner to request that their site protect its data with a secure connection.
Outdated security configuration (not valid, expired, self-signed)"
It seems the next step would be a factory reset, but I'm afraid that if there is something amiss with the modem, that might brick it and leave me with no services. I can't risk that just now, my family would kill me if we had to go days without television or internet.

1 month agoThat message is expected when you go to a website with HTTPS and the site doesn't use a certificate (HTTP) which is the case for your router.
You said warnings were turned off for the site before you saw this message. I suspect that now that you've enabled the warnings you should be able to proceed when you connect via http://192.168.1.254/

Thanks for your reply FuzzyLogic.
As I said in an earlier post, when I enabled warnings I got a button to continue to site, but this only resulted in a message saying that the site returned no data. I was presented with the option to proceed to the site anyway, but still did not connect to the modem/router.

I'm curious as to where you enabled warnings? It seems more likely this is a browser or firewall issue to me.
