Cancellation fee
I called Telus to move my services (1GB fiber) to my new residence and was told that they do not offer the fiber I am currently getting. They only offer copper which is maybe 5% of the speed. That isn't enough for anyone especially when you need the speed fiber provides. I was then told if I want to cancel it will be $300. I am not wanting to cancel but they are essentially breaking their end of the service agreement by not providing the same services. How is that even a thing? I would gladly stay with Telus had they offered the same internet speeds. After being a customer for over 4 years this is what I get I guess. Going to file a complaint with CCTS, has anyone had a good experience doing the same?
