Boost Wi-Fi 7 Admin Password

I don't know why the default password on my Boost Wi-Fi 7 would not work.

Hey aoayoola - The default Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password for the TELUS Boost Wi-Fi 7 (b30a) are printed on a sticker located on the back or under the removable bottom cover of the unit.

That's what I used and it didn't work. The technician changed the default Wi-FI password too. Is there anything that can be done?

Double check that you're using the Admin password and not the Wi-Fi password. The Admin password will be a 10-12 character alphanumeric string. You can also try logging in with the same password that you use to log into the TELUS Connect app. If that doesn't work, try the new Wi-Fi password the tech set up. Sometimes the provisioning tool will clone the Wi-Fi password into the Admin field.

If that doesn't do the trick, your only other path forward would be a full hardware reset. Locate the reset pinhole on the back/bottom of the unit, and use a paperclip or something similar to press and hold the button in for a full 30 seconds (you'll see the lights flash red/amber). Wait 10 minutes without unplugging it (the unit will need to fully reboot). After it turns to solid blue, try the original Admin password from the sticker again. A good tip once you've done this is to use the TELUS Connect app to manage your settings going forward.
