Are these legit Telus numbers???
I received this text earlier today. Then received a phone call from this number +1(888)-811-2323 . I gave my address and pin to verify my account and then felt off about the whole thing so I hung up ...

777222 and 6400 are both short numbers used by Telus to send messages to customers. Telus does send out messages when an unstable enough connection is detected. Both toll free phone numbers that called are Telus numbers. I would suspect in this instance it's likely it was Telus. The scammers usually try to sell you things.
If you want to be safe, just call tech support at either number and maybe change your PIN while you're at it for added peace of mind. You can confirm the toll free numbers on Telus's contact page here, or at the Contact Us link in the footer of this website.
