Airdrie - 5Gbe speed issue

I recently upgraded from the PureFibre 3 Gig to the PureFibre 5 Gig as it recently became available in my area (awesome!!).

When it was installed a couple weeks ago, I didnt have my 10Gbe X520-DA1 NICs yet to confirm the 5Ggbe speeds, we were limited to 2.5Gbe tests.

Fast forward today when they came in.

I have UCG-Fiber connected to the TELUS ONT (Bridge mode) via CAT6. From my UCG-Fiber, I'm connected via DAC to a 10Gbe X520-DA1 NIC.

First test:

Second test (Directly connected to Telus ONT via CAT6 to the X520-DA1, with a SFP+ RJ45 adapter).

I've called Telus support, and I've been told Telus ONT is provisioned for 5Gbe.

My issues very similar this issue: 'calgary-nw-3gbe-and-5gbe-speed-issue" I cant put the link..

As web browsers often cap out at ~3Gbps due to single-threaded processing. I also tried out Speedtest CLI for a more accurate result. Specifically speedtest.exe -P 8 to use its multi-threaded mode.

Any assistance to achieve the 5Gbe speeds would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

DS
