power cord for new Samsung S25 phone
Good morning I recently purchased a new Samsung S25 phone with a new 2 year contract. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed that the cord which I assume is for power is not USB compatible. ...
That is correct I am not happy that I have to purchase an adapter or a new power plug as everything I have uses the USB A
Thanks for your response, and I understand the challenges, perhaps TELUS could demand better products from the suppliers…

Community ManagerThe U in USB stands for Universal and the industry amongst others are shifting to USB-C as it has many advantages over USB A. If we demanded better products we would have more USB-C devices.
I hear you about having to buy new accessories. I have purchased USB-C to USB-A adapters but I haven't used them in two years as I purchased a USB-C hub charger that includes both USB-C and USB-A. It is annoying but it should be a one-time thing until the folks over at USB determine a new standard but even Apple has moved over to USB-C thankfully.
