How do you use Call Control on a business cell phone with no admin?

So, like millions of Telus customers, I have a business-assigned cell phone. I want to use call control. I asked our main office to see if they were able to enable it for me, which they did. When I went to see how to use it and set up phone numbers, every article I find tells me to login to the Telus portal to administer that.

I don't have access to the Telus admin portal - none of our employees do, as I'm sure 99% of businesses are set up in similar ways.

So is this service unusable for business customers?

  • Okay, but the most important first step is to make a list of phone numbers that will not be blocked. How do I do that?

      Hopefully this will help:

I wouldn't worry about adding people to the accepted list as once they respond to the first prompt they will be added automatically. What you do want to add would be things like UPS automated delivery notices or your buzzer number for your apartment should it use your phone for entry.

Assuming it's been enabled you should be able to toggle it on and off by dial *99 from the phone.
