Fraudulent Callers
Called to offer unlimited internet with unlimited calling + new phone number for 40$/month
When I asked for a phone number to call back, I was given 226-784-8411
They did answer when called. Beware of scammers.
Thanks for flagging this. We're always working to combat these fraudulent calls, and as always we recommend to everyone to never actually call them back nor give any personal/account information to someone you don't recognize.

BTW, the "from" number was some random local number.
I asked about the number they are calling, they offered to call back and show 1-800 official Telus number.
One should be aware that it's very easy to spoof "from" number (presentation call ID).
The same applies to SMS'es - some gateways allow spoofing SMS "from" number, so it's very easy to pretend that the call or SMS messages are coming from Telus.
If you ever get contacted, asked to leave a comment to your profile, and offer to callback once you have more time.- TELUS_Support

Feel free to make a call to that number and annoy them. The more their time gets wasted, the fewer people will get scammed.
