First Time NSF Fee Waiver
I am writing because I've been with Telus for over a year now. On September 25th, despite having sufficient funds in my bank account for the pre-authorized payment, the payment was refunded to my account. After the charge was refunded the same day, Telus charged me again on Oct 2nd, and this time it went through. I'm charged an 80 CAD NSF fee on my upcoming bill. I'm hoping I can have it waived, as it's not the problem on my end; it should be the issue with the communication between Telus and my bank. This is the first time I have heard of this policy. I wasn't informed about it when I first registered for authorized payment.

Vy_N, were sorry for this situation and we'll do our best to assist you here. If you had sufficient funds in your bank account on September 25th and the payment cleared when re-attempted on October 2nd, being hit with an unexpected $80 NSF fee feels completely unfair—especially when you set up pre-authorized payments to avoid payment stress in the first place.
You shouldn't be penalized for a processing desync or bank-to-carrier communication failure, and you certainly shouldn't have to pay $80 for a policy you weren't clearly informed about at sign-up. We'll send you a private message since we'll need to access your account in order to assist you, thanks for your time.
