Cell Service in Ottawa Valley
After 20 years with Rogers, I decided to switch all my mobile and internet services to Telus. Fast forward 4 weeks and I'm regretting that decision. The transition with both has been a comedy of errors. To date, I have spent 10+ hours in the Telus store directly or waiting on hold...almost too many scenarios to go through in one forum post. I'm considering doing an about face and begging Rogers to take me back, even though I would pay a few more bucks a month. My deal breaker question is this: Can I expect to get more than 1-2 bars on LTE for mobile service across the Ottawa Valley (Carleton Place, Perth, etc.) Occasionally I'm able to get 3 and maybe even 4 bars (rarely) but while I'm at home I have 2 at best. I can't hotspot a device. I can't even login to the Telus app on my phone. Is this what I should expect?
