Advanced Voicemail vs Visual Voicemail
I have a phone that supports Visual Voicemail, and I'm on the Unlimited 25 5G+ plan, which includes Advanced Voicemail. What is the difference between the two, and would the Visual Voicemail be an addon? Also, why does Telus charge for this feature instead of including it in its plans like in the past?
AFAIK, Visual Voicemail has always had a fee attached.
Is Advanced Voicemail just the 25 messages which can be kept, or does it offer some other benefits?
Visual Voicemail downloads both an audio file, and a written transcription of the VM to your phone. Its utility depends on your needs.
