Telus routing from Calgary to WestNet (Verizon) going To Seattle?

Hi there, 

When i do a traceroute to WestNet servers in Calgary Telus routes the traffic to Seattle and Back from optic ethernet 1gb internet

ON Telus 5g theres is way less routing and lower latency its actually funny. 

Anyway if anyone at the TELUS NOC Can fix this or adjust/peer with WestNet/Verizon it would be great.
