Support calls and BC time zone
This is a rant about the terrible Telus Support!
On Friday October 30th, I set up a support call for November 2nd at 11AM BC Time. This time was carefully selected by me to take place after an important meeting.
As we know, BC did not change our time over the weekend. BC is staying on the PDT time. I had a lengthy discussion with the support person about this fact before we set up the call, and she assured me she understood the implications.
Clearly not! The appointment booked did not adjust for the time zone and the support called me an hour before the time we had scheduled (at 09:50 local time) and in the middle of my important meeting. Now my only option is to book a new appointment: earliest availability is November 8.
I am now in an endless loop with an idiotic AI agent. If you are going to implement AI, at least make it useful. It is absolutely infuriating to interact with an AI agent and have no option to move the conversation to a real human being. Making appointments 7 days in the future does not count.
Looking for information on the Telus website is no better. All pre-canned questions and answers. Now way to figure out how to actually reach anyone. Again, making appointments 7 days in the future does not count. I'm sure this is a great business when you don't have to deal with those pesky customers.
Telus, DO BETTER!
