Can't link account?

Hi. I just signed up for Home Security on Monday and they are installing it tomorrow. I'm trying to set up My Telus account and when I put in the account number I was given and my postal code I get the error

 

This account has been cancelled

It’s not possible to link a cancelled service.

 

It says to contact customer support but navigating the automated bot is a nightmare and the wait times are currently over an hour.

 

I also haven't received my activation email for NortonLifeLock. My service is supposed to be installed tomorrow and I haven't been able to get these accounts set up.Can't say I'm super impressed right now

  • Generally speaking, the system is in a holding pattern until services are installed and working. Once that's done, your account details should starting flowing on the backend.

      Thanks, I was eventually able to get through on the phone and they did clarify things for me. The email I got prior to installation was a little confusing (or I was just reading it completely wrong, lol). All installed and running now.
