Telus TV + cable box IP control available?
With the introduction of the new Telus TV cable box, will this box have the ability to be controlled via IP?

Can you control the new TELUS TV Digital Box with an IR remote still or is it only Bluetooth now? Or do we other options for automation systems like Control4, Crestron and Savant to control the new TELUS TV Digital Box.
- I can control my Optik box with a Harmony Hub and the Harmony app on my phone and tablet. Unfortunately Logitech has discontinued the Harmony Hub. I hear the Broadlink RM4 Pro is similar.

The new TELUS TV Digital Box is based on the Android TV platform, so you can control it to a cetain extent with the Google TV app (but note that it likely won't have full functionality, and it isn't supported by TELUS).

I don't believe the functionality has changed much with the new box. The big difference is no local storage so recording is cloud based. Access is still through your TV, the Telus TV+ app or website.
It should be controllable over ip using the Google Home app.
