I need help with recurring billing issues.
Hello, I cancelled my Home Security Service many months ago. I sent all the gear back and have Canada Post documentation to prove it. I also have several emails from Telus confirming the successful closure of this service. In addition to this I have called and spoken to Telus individuals on 6 different occasions. Every time I am told it will be resolved.
Yesterday Telus tried charging my credit card again, asking me to pay for a subscription I cancelled long ago.
The email states that Telus will refer me to a credit institution if I don’t pay up.
PLEASE HELP. I am growing increasingly frustrated at this situation as I have in good faith tried everything possible to provide information.
I worked very hard in my life to try and have a clean credit history and now this is being threatened. I am at wit’s end with this and I don’t know if I should just call a lawyer to help me out at this point.
please help.
