Do technicians need electric room access?
The unit in my apartment already has these wires and hole. The technician went to my apartment and still ask for electric room access. Telus put up these wires last year. I am coming from shaw/rogers switching to telus.
do technicians really need the electric room even if we already have these wires and holes? Since technician cant get to the electric room we will be rescheduling the installation. Now my problem is my building manager doesnt have the key because it was currently being used by other tradesman. Now its taking so long to install my internet, my WFH job is cooked.

Hey Sirhands2 - Yes, our technicians still require access even if there is pre-existing wiring in place. This is a mandatory requirement for all MDU (multi-dwelling unit) installations and isn’t optional, regardless of existing setups.
