Data useage

Hdmi inputs on tv dead.

Downloaded the telus+ app to a smart tv to use until tv is repaired. 

The TV WIFI is on the same telus home account as the 21T box. 

Question:

Is the data used included in my Optik tv plan?

     — OR —

Is applied against my monthly internet data limit?

    Data used for the TELUS TV+ app is included in your internet plan. Put another way, using the TELUS TV+ app does NOT contribute to your monthly data allotment provided you're on the same internet connection as the TV account is registered to. There are a few exceptions; notably Free Featured Channels and 3rd party services such as Shudder and Acorn.
