Boost expansion
I am having trouble Cherri g a good connection for my expansion boost. It keeps telling me to move closer to the modem, but my first boost is plugged into modem, 2nd one is about 20’ from the 1st with excellent connection, then this expansion one is downstairs no closed doors and maybe 20’ away. I thought the 2nd boost was supposed to relay the signal to the 3rd so that the 3rd could be more than 40’ from the one connected to the modem. Am I wrong?
Put it 20’ away on the upper floor, and see if the throughput changes. It may be worth trying to run an Ethernet cable to the lower floor.

It is but depending on the materials in your floor and walls, it could be impeding the signal. You should try moving it around downstairs to see if it can get a better signal elsewhere.
