Send/receive all messages

Hello,

Our organization recently purchased iPhone SEs for our staff; each phone has a data plan.

We want to ensure that all staff members are able to send and receive all messages (SMS, MMS, iMessage, RCS) to and from all devices (Apple, Android) when they are on WIFI and when they are on data.

Our concern is that messages are not being received/delivered in real time.

Could you please share the optimized settings to ensure prompt communication?

Thanks.

Did you purchase the devices from us or from Apple?

They should just be plug and play - as soon as they are activated and have the SIM cards put into them, they should automatically work and being Apple devices there aren't any APN settings to configure.

Are you still having this issue chdgrs? Did it fix itself?

I have worse issue. I can’t receive SMS from other phones or 2FA services - only Telus system messages are coming through. Voice service is working, but I’m unable to send or receive standard SMS.

I had just replaced my old SIM as a last resort and as suggested by Telus Tech Support and Customer Service after extensive troubleshooting yesterday. The issue persists across multiple phones and appears tied to my mobile number. iMessage is disabled, and my Talk & Text 100 plan still shows 400 messages remaining.

The store associate who spent over 45 minutes on the phone with Telus tech support to complete the SIM swap and verify proper provisioning. Based on this, the associate and I agree this is not a device or SIM issue. It is escalated to "Telus Engineers" with an ETA of 7 days or earlier to resolve. It is now 2 days + and counting. If Telus cannot fix this issue, then it says alot about the company.

Although I can receive Telus Service text messages but I cannot respond back so if will be difficult to port my number to another provider (Rogers, Bell, etc) since I cannot respond if Telus texts me for approval to port. It is a Catch-22 situation.

Hey tsk3238 - this is a strange issue. Have you tried putting your SIM card into another phone? That can help narrow down the issue but receiving text messages is free and does not decrease your 400 text limit.

Are you having issues with 2FA from all websites or just the same ones over and over again?

You did not read my post carefully with a purpose. Cannot receive at all: 2FA, SMS from anyone except Telus System Service text messages I cannot even response back when asked with their "Reminder: TELUS (Free SMS): 3 quick questions about your recent  experience will help your service! How would you rate .....blah, blah"

Default settings should be fine. Are you experiencing any specific issues?
