loyalty offer
5 Topics2 year loyalty discount?
Hi, apologies if this is a duplicated post - I've seen old ones that are similar, but wanted to check if this is a newer version of a scam. I got a call from 778-437-9938 (showed up as British Columbia on caller ID - which is the correct province) and I was being offered a 2 year 30-40% discount on my current bills. Sounded very suspicious - the guy didn't know how much I was currently paying, and didn't even really bother to verify anything. He sent me two very sketchy looking email for my cell and internet marked as "privileged program", then said he was going to transfer me to his supervisor. His "supervisor" then said he wanted to give me a discount code that I need to enter; I asked him why he couldn't just apply everything from his side, and he basically had no answer - just a "uhhh, eheh, well...we...can? But we need you to also confirm from your side". I told him I'd call him back because I had to do a work meeting. He was trying to say that he could call me back, and I just told him that I would call back, which I won't, but that also seemed like a suspicious move. Anyone else get this call and can confirm it's a scam? Doesn't seem very legit to me.Solved19Views0likes1CommentLoyalty offer not on my order or contract
I had a Loyalty offer, which would expire March 10 2026. I could upgrade my new Samsung S26 Ultra: From 256g to 512g. Free. And, get the, "Galaxy watch 8 on us". Doesn't show on my order, or my contract. I have already done the order, and paid the required taxes. All done through MyTelus app. Selected the 512g. Was fine. The watch would arrive after a few weeks, after getting a contact email/or call. Went to check through my app. The offer is gone, since I already ordered it. Called customer service, talked with a loyalty representative. He didn't see anything. He transferred me, but of course the offices were closed at 9:50am. Now, all I am getting is a 256g S26 Ultra? As a 25 year customer. This is not acceptable. Can anyone help?180Views0likes4CommentsLoyalty Offer = Double my current plan?
I've had my current phone since 2018. It works great but it's starting to have issues charging, but nothing having a charging bank in my bag won't help with. Telus is offering me "loyalty rewards" options to upgrade my phone (I have been with Telus for 15+ years). I found a phone I liked, but the lowest plan for any new phone is double what my current plan is with less services? I only started this plan 2 years ago when they offered it to me. How the heck do they call doubling your plan in two years a "reward for loyalty"? Also trying access any customer service is near impossible - support won't even load in the app?153Views0likes2CommentsOffers/Discount Confusion
Ok I have to post this bc I can't be the only. It makes my head hurt and actually is starting to make me kind of angry bc I am finding more and more frequently these kinds of confusing and feeling a little bit like false advertising things on the website.716Views0likes1CommentText Loyalty offer from 5458 short code but not available
I was sent a loyalty offer through text from the Telus short code. It has a link to the telus site where the offer should be but nothing works, the offer is also neither in my App with login or Web with login. I tried calling an agent who could not make the offer either. It's a decent offer but expires in a few days. Who can make this work??920Views0likes1Comment
