I spent 2 hours on the phone with tech support who clearly didn't know anything other than the script. I have not had 1.5gpb upload since my install earlier in the week nor was bridge mode working. He had me factory reset the modem and then after 45 mins, had needed to have second level support assist just to get it back online. Upload speeds still capped at 800gps and now my download speeds are capping around 800gpbs. It was at 1.5gb before the reset. All he did was make it worse and never fixed the bridge mode. Basicly he gave up after 2 hours on the phone (sounding like he hated being there the entire time) and hung up because "the office was closing". The installation tech was also afwul because he said we couldn't even use bridge mode and only tested that the wifi was working but never confirmed the speeds... Hey All, I am trying to get Port Forwarding to work on my Technicolor NH20T Modem/Router so I can access Plex. I am able to connect to plex externally but only via a Relay connection. I will list my troubleshooting methods attempted so far below: Confirmed Public IP range (My IP falls under 154.x.x.x). Modem/router settings are set to TCP 32400 with internal static IP set to plex server. Plex has external access enabled and manually forward to 32400. Factory reset modem/router and updated setting. called Telus which told me port forwarding is only for business accounts (wrong), put my router in bridge mode and then told me they cant help. I know this setup should work since I have a friend who has Telus fiber with the same modem and the same settings. When i try to access the port using yougetsignal.com It tells me the port is closed. Short of moving to a different provider I am stuck for troubleshooting methods. Anyone got any recommendations on where to go from here? Hi all, Every few days (sometimes multiple times a day), packet loss will go through the roof. This affects things like Facetime, Zoom, and even games and has been extremely inconvenient. A reboot of the router fixes the issue, but only temporarily. I haven't been able to try over ethernet, but the problem definitely happens across multiple devices all at the same time. It also tends to resolve itself a few hours later? See attached images for packet issue examples. Have plenty more... I recently upgraded to the PureFibre X Internet 3G plan from my 1G plan before. Have been with Telus for close to 10 years now and never had issues like this... In the upgrade, technician upgraded me to the new Wifi 7 Router (B30A) from the Telus Wifi Hub Router. He also made some changes to my Fibre Connection outside, I believe. What can be done to fix the issue? What is even the issue? Is this a router problem? A This has been driving me crazy. I've resorted to restarting the router on a daily basis using a timed plug, but even that is not resolving things fully. Thank you in advance... Things I have tried: Disabling the AP Steering, Band Steering, Legacy Steering Getting a replacement B30A Router Changing DNS to 1.1.1.1 on devices189Views0likes8Comments$0.00 Account - now $116.58 ARM Claim
I have been sent to collections by Telus for an alleged unpaid balance of $116.58 on my previous internet account (ending November 2025). My payments were set up as per-authorized, after the service was disconnected and my contract ended, resulting in a final bill of $0.00 (screenshot available). Despite this, I received no prior notification—no emails, texts, or calls—regarding any outstanding balance. It wasn’t until a collection agency contacted me that I learned of this supposed debt, which will unfairly damage my credit score. I have spent several hours on the phone with Telus customer service, only to be told that they cannot help me since the account has been transferred to collections. Provided proof of the $0.00 balance to the collection agency, but after all follow-ups, they informed me that Telus has not responded to their inquiries, leaving me stuck with a negative credit report that I cannot correct without Telus's cooperation. I am still a current Telus customer. As a loyal customer since the 1990's, I expect no special treatment, but I also don’t expect Telus to ruin my credit score, waste my time, and cause unnecessary stress. I continue taking all necessary steps to reclaim my rights.143Views0likes5CommentsPoor customer service.
I tried in vane to set up my home voice mail on my acct but was unable to despite standing on my head and giving up my first born. Nothing worked with the online tutorials so I went to the phone call option. I was connected very quickly but I now know that it was more of a sales call than support call. She verified that I had home phone, duh, and said she would help me to get it set up. From that point on she went into sales mode. I do not use Telus mobility because it does not serve Sproat Lake, port alberni. She proceeded to check my home address (not at the lake ) and she confirmed that Telus mobility works at my house, duh. She then checked the lake address I gave and confirmed that telus provides service at the lake. This is not true, I work as a home care RN and we repeatedly have to either drive for service or use their home phone. She argued with me, argue that I was wrong. I told her that I was not switching to Telus mobility and then she proceeded to argue further about how easy the switch was etc. I mentioned that I had phoned for support with my home voicemail and she continued to argue. I told her I would find the support myself. I went on to the Telus site again and found that I don't in fact have voicemail. Why could she not have told me that??? I am on home phone lite. you only get one feature and my feature is call display which I am not going to change with all the spam. I pay $210 for my service and can't even get voicemail. TELUS' support is really just their sales department. Shaw is not looking so bad right now.86Views0likes1Comment192.168.1.254 login.
hello, I am trying to port forward, but the problem is that I cannot access the 192.168.1.254 site as I do not have the admin password for my the access hub. Going into 192.168.1.41 just brings me to my boosters options and I have no way of port forwarding. I am wondering how I am able to find the admin password of the access hub. should I try taking the plastic covering off? Is the password for the access hub hidden inside of it? What other option to retrieve the password do I have?171Views0likes1CommentCannot get IPv6 to work on Business Fibre Internet 3G
I recently had Business Fibre Internet installed in Coquitlam. I have the Nokia XS-230X-A ONT which I can plug directly into my router or into a switch and then have multiple routers connected the switch. For IPv4, this setup works great. I have one router for my home use and one router for my business use. I am getting very close to 3 Gbps through both routers. Previously, when I lived in Surrey, I had a very similar setup although only a single symmetric 100 Mbps pipe. At that time, there were no issues getting IPv6 to work on both of my routers. This time around, I have tried two different routers with no success. Router 1 is a Unifi UXG Fiber and Router 2 is a pfSense In both cases, I have set the routers to request an IPv6 prefix using DHCPv6, size 56, and not wait for an RA Given an almost identical setup between the two locations (Surrey and Coquitlam) I am quite surprised to see no IPv6 support in Coquitlam despite it working when I was in Surrey not too long ago.204Views0likes7CommentsInternet disconnects and times out randomly
