Boost7 10Gig port

I was upgraded to 3Gig service, and the tech came out to install the new NAH and Boost7 AP. He told me Telus has been having issues with the 10Gig port on the Boost7 and to use the 2.5Gig port instead.

I did notice faster speeds on the 2.5Gig port than on the 10Gig port.

Is this a known issue, as I'd like to get my full 3Gig speeds to the AP?
