Seeing what looks like a selective upstream routing/blackhole issue on TELUS Business Internet in the Spruce Grove/Edmonton area tonight. The circuit is up. Static IPv4 /30; TELUS gateway is reachable with essentially no loss. However, some Internet destinations are completely unreachable while others work normally. Directly from OPNsense: 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8 and 9.9.9.9 all have 100% loss. Google IP 74.125.195.102 also has 100% loss and TCP/443 times out, while Google IP 142.250.69.174 has 0% loss and TCP/443 succeeds normally. Both Google IPs use the same WAN interface, default route and TELUS gateway. I also captured traffic on the physical Proxmox NIC connected to the TELUS handoff. Traffic to 74.125.195.102 physically leaves the WAN NIC toward the TELUS next-hop MAC, but nothing returns. Traffic to 142.250.69.174 leaves through the same NIC/next-hop and immediately receives ICMP replies and TCP SYN/ACKs. Local causes have been checked: OPNsense routing/default gateway is correct, CrowdSec is not blocking the affected IPs, Proxmox nftables/iptables/ebtables/tc are clear, and the physical NIC has zero RX/TX errors or discards. The issue also reproduces directly from OPNsense. DNS was collateral damage. Unbound normally forwards over DoT to Cloudflare 1.1.1.2/1.0.0.2, which also became unreachable. Disabling those forwarders and using recursive DNS restored most service, but selective IPv4 reachability remains. And just to top it off, the password I have recorded for my TELUS ONT no longer works. I tried resetting it and using the default credentials afterward, but still cannot access the ONT management interface. Anyone else on TELUS, particularly Business Internet in Alberta, seeing selective destination/prefix reachability tonight?52Views0likes1CommentBusiness Connect (multi-location) still not working 1.5 months later
I've been waiting since mid-June 2026 (about 1.5 months now) for a TELUS Business Connect Enhanced setup across two clinic locations (multi-site). Open support request ID 25444257. Background: our existing landline was bundled with internet, but due to copper retirement we had to move to Business Connect. Since making the switch: - The old landline is completely dead — no service at all - We're still being billed $20/month for it - The only reason we have phone coverage right now is that calls happen to forward to our other, already-existing Business Connect number — this was not a real setup, just a lucky workaround Timeline: - Quote approved mid-June with original rep Jerrica Mae Galvez - Jerrica has since left TELUS - New rep Kimberlyn Duron was assigned and escalated this to a Concierge Team for the multi-location setup - No update since, and I've been unable to reach anyone by phone for weeks This is now urgent — our new location opens this week and we still don't have working phone service set up for it. Could someone from the TELUS Business team or Community Power Users help me get this escalated? Happy to share account details via private message. Thank you.101Views0likes2CommentsThis number is not assigned
Our business landline phone number with Telus can't receive or send calls. For about a week now when someone calls our number it says "This number is not assigned". I have called the support line but nobody is able to help and they just keep transferring to other departments. Any advice on what to do to get this resolved?83Views0likes1CommentBusiness Connect account setup incomplete—no access after one week
I am submitting this formal complaint regarding TELUS’s failure to properly set up and provide access to my business account services. I opened a TELUS business account for my mobility lines about three months ago. More than a week ago, I contacted TELUS to add a new Business Connect line. Although the setup was started over the phone, I never received the required account access information. I was not given login details, I was unable to create a username, and I still cannot access or use my Business Connect account. I followed up with the same representative who had previously helped me open my mobility account. I explained that the service had supposedly already been set up, yet I had received no access information and no working account. I was then told that the process had been started by more than one representative, which left the account creation incomplete. I was assured the issue would be resolved last week, but it remains unresolved. This reflects a serious failure in TELUS’s onboarding and customer service process. I entered into this agreement with the expectation that TELUS would activate the requested service and provide the necessary account access within a reasonable timeframe. That has not happened. As a result, I have experienced unnecessary delays, wasted time, and frustration. It is unacceptable that an existing business customer cannot obtain access to a service TELUS agreed to provide. I am requesting immediate resolution of my Business Connect account setup, delivery of all required access information, written confirmation that the account has been fully activated, and review of this matter by an escalation or management team. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I am prepared to escalate the matter through the appropriate complaint channels, including the Commission for Complaints for Telecom-television Services. I request a prompt response and a concrete resolution.136Views0likes1CommentFiber issues and business down
We have changed a firewall and spent 2 days with Telus to get it operational. We were working than a few hours later go offline. Was told it was resolved last night. Today we are down again, no internet, emails, business connect voip phones etc. Called telus support and they advise it is a hardware issue at their end and a tech can get to it Tuesday. Is this common and what restitution is there when I have to shut my office down for two work days to wait for a tech to fix their issue?210Views0likes5CommentsBusiness phone over fibre not working - need re-programming help!
Hi, I'm hoping a community manager sees this and can help me out. My business uses Telus over fibre for our business phone. It has not been working all day (both incoming and outgoing) and when I called tech support they told me that from their end, it also shows the line is not working and that the programming is completely missing. I asked them if they could please reset the programming but the tech support said they are unable to do it from their end and need someone from the back end to do it. Unfortunately they cannot give me an ETA on how long this will take but said it's typical to take up to 24 hours. Can a community manager please help me escalate this issue? It is severely impacting my business especially it being the end of year which is my busiest time, I have a case number if that helps. Thank you!72Views0likes0CommentsBusiness Line Support Process Frustrations
I've seen through the forums that many of us have the same problem. 1 - We experience an issue with our telus business line so we go to the technical support page. We spend time to explain our problem and then submit the ticket, we then experience the first problem. It also wipes our forms so if we didn't save our information, we lose it all. 2 - We go to the chat to explain our problem to the AI. The AI is confused and doesn't understand the issue, when we also explain that the problem is we can't log a support ticket. It gets more confused. 3 - We finally admit to ourselves we have to call the Telus Business Support Line. We experience the AI problem again, in circles it goes - if it mishears you - it goes on a tangent about changing plans. You need to call back, speak with purpose and when it understands you need technical support - it begins its troubleshooting. NOW thats a nightmare. Especially if you're a engineer. 4 - The final boss. You get put into the Telus support queue finally. The IVR then lets you know, there is over an hour to wait. No option for callbacks, just wait and then sprinkled within the IVR is letting you know about upgrades. If I knew this was the level of support I would be getting on a business line. I would have just opted for a consumer line, I truly regret the decision to move to Telus 3 years ago and when the contract comes up for renewal - I'll be moving unless something changes.222Views1like2CommentsHow To setup my Wifi Boosters to broadcast only 1 network
I live in Toronto. I have 100MB home internet from Koodo. I also have Telus Smart Home Security. My WAN modem is Sercom Modem DM1000. It connects to a B21A WiFi Booster from Telus. This device is defaulted to broadcast 1 network ID (SSID). I have 2 additional (DWS) booster (Range Extenders\) from Telus Smart Home Team. These devices have their own network that’s different from the main B21A booster. Instead of having multiple networks broadcasting, I want all these devices connected to same one network that will also work with my Smart Home Equipment. I’ve got conflicting information from the support team about what these boosters are capable of …. I was told I couldn’t connect any devices to these B21A boosters, except for Security devices. Then, I was advised I could add additional devices, however everything needs to be connected to the factory default settings. After I set everything to default, and it still didn’t work, I was advised that is my ISP that blocking it. Since we live in Ontario, and need to use Koodo, it’s not possible after all. Then I was told it’s the Sercom modem that’s not capable for what I want, and other models could do it, but they couldn’t say which ones. It's been frustrating experience and could really use some guidance. Thanks!!1.9KViews0likes2CommentsHorrible experience with Business Connect sign up
I have to vent about the god awful experience I have had signing up for Telus Business Connect service. I wish I had not done it and to be honest, I am still not sure if I have actually signed up. I have a Telus copper line that I wanted to take to my new location. The sales rep sold me on the Business Connect phone service. Sure, I said, sign me up. I went back and forth, picked out the VOIP phone I wanted and signed the contract. 3 weeks later, I have only received 1 of my 5 ordered phones. They told me that someone from Concierge team will reach out to assist with the setup. Never heard from anyone. My official move date is in 4 days and by now, I have been on the phone with half their telephone reps and I am told "you might get your phones in 3-5 days". Great, I thought. Then, I asked about porting my old Telus phone. Now, at the 11th hour, they tell me "its going to take another 7 days". I am already leaving my old location in 3 days and am about to be without a phone line for 5 days. How can any business hope to run on this Business Connect? Maybe if the hope is to go belly up, then business connect service sounds great. Would never recommend Telus to any colleagues.3.4KViews1like1CommentTELUS Business Connect Hack
Did anyone else admin account for Business Connect get hack. I got email alert at July 19th 2022 1:30am that the admin account password and PIN got changed. I was locked out but I was able to reset my password. Changed my PIN, found in my security log the the admin account login in single attempt in the morning no signs of a brute for attack. my security question was change at the same time. but the log didn't show the password change or PIN change. I find this odd the password for the account , pin and security question is all unique using password manager with 20 characters random. As well all the cisco desk phone are not connecting to Business Connect but my one polycom is connected.Solved7.8KViews0likes2Comments
