data roaming
I am signed up the Canada/US/Mexico plan with 200 gig of data. All fine except I now notice they say most data usage has to be be in Canada. Now, I spend 5 months a year in Mexico so even if I use 1 mb of data I am still using more in Mexico than Canada on a monthly basis. Unless of course it is over a year. I use little data at home in Canada, but I could easily hook my phone to my amazon firestick on spare tv and let it rip, and run up a lot data while I am home. Anyone know?1KViews0likes1CommentCall forwarding while roaming
I am on the plan that gives me free calling in Canada, the US and mexico. Call forwarding works on my cell and i have 3000 min a month or something like that. I spend winter in Mexico. This year I have to fly to Colombia for a week and would like to forward my cell to my canadian home number. Does anyone know if the *21* routine will work while I am on a roaming network? I suspect it wont so I am wondering if there is a Canadian access number which I can call and do teh same thing? Or something similar to accessing your Voicemail by dialing your own number and pressing *947Views0likes0CommentsRe: Telus Tv plus app on firestick
There appears to be no way to install the Optik TV app on a firestick. i have tried every trick I can think of. With a lot of people including myself signing up for Starlink for our RV's this is a pain in ass. I notice the competitor, Shaw has an app built in so does bell with a firestick. This gives them a competitive advantage. I do not want to switch, as I get an employee discount on Telus and it's a matter of loyalty, They really need to get their act together. A lot of us are getting Starlink for our RV's and want to use Optik without having to hook a laptop up to use it. How hard is it to get their app added to Amazons app store.17KViews1like2Comments
