Re: WiFi getting progressively worse...
I was using the Telus one up until last night. Bridged the old router and used a new Asus one and I'm getting 400mbps at my worst spot in the house now, brilliant! One question though....I tried bridged mode as well as just running a new and concurrent WiFi network (so now I have 2)....same speed. What's the benefit of bridged mode? Why not just have 2 WiFi sources?3.1KViews0likes0CommentsWiFi getting progressively worse...
Switched to Telus Gigabit Fiber about 2 years ago. For a year and a bit, everything was great. Wired ethernet was fast, powerline adapters were fast, WiFi was fast. Now, even right beside the modem, I'm lucky to get 80mbps down and 40mbps up. With the same devices that were getting 700 and 550 a year ago. The range has always been kind of poor too, so I guess my question is, will a new router fix my issue and can I just plug it into the Nokia box on the wall or does the white Telus hub still need to be used?3.3KViews0likes4CommentsWhy is the website impossible to navigate?
Why is it when I click on a simply share plan, with SHAREABLE DATA, can I not add a 2nd device without adding said device PLUS another plan? Isn't the whole point of a FAMILY PLAN to be able to share the data and have multiple devices? Is everything just one single plan now for each phone?Solved4.2KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Simple Share plans, not so simple
This question wasn't really ever answered. The original poster's issue was that when selecting a simply share plan online, there was NO OPTION TO ADD A 2ND DEVICE (ie his wife's phone). Regardless of which phone used how much data, selecting a FAMILY PLAN on the Telus website doesn't allow you to add multiple devices to share in the pooled data which is the entire purpose of a shared data plan. It makes you add a whole other device + plan in your cart. Its bunked.6.7KViews0likes0Comments
