I see that there are used T3200M being sold cheap, and I was wondering if I bought one used and cheap can I simply replace the T1200H with one of these old T3200M routers? Since Telus did not send out new remotes with my UIW4001(e) & UIW8001 boxes when upgrading from the old Cisco CIS430 & CIS330 boxes, which are really old boxes, I was wondering what remotes to get and where (ideally locally in Vancouver). Also has anyone connected one of these boxes to an old TV using some sort of adapter using old analog ports (like composite red+white+yellow ports or component ports)?450Views0likes0CommentsNew install of UIW4001(e) box on T1200H router
Can a UIW41001(e) digital box be paired with an Actiontec T1200H router using WPS? I have been trying to get the two paired but cannot, and I suspect it is because the 4001 is using 5Ghz frequency while the T1200H is 2.4Ghz only! FYI background, just switched from old Cisco CIS430 & CIS330 boxes to newly received UIW8001 and 3 UIW4001(e) boxes which came with no remotes or HDMI cables (including adapters for old RCA TV inputs which we still have) and yet we have to return the old boxes including remotes and HDMI cables to Telus which would leave us with no way to operate the new boxes!
