Intermittent issues with 4K STB (possibly related to Prime Video)

Every few weeks our STB refuses to respond to anything put power on/off. The LED flashes on the front of the box when commands are sent but nothing else happens. We originally had an Arris box (non-PVR version) and recently had it replaced with a Technicolor one thinking it was an issue with the box. Unfortunately the problem continues.
As far as we can tell the issue starts after watching Prime Video. We are unable to exit Prime Video after watching a show but can power off the box with the remote. After this all the box will respond to is power off/on from the remote.
So far the only fix has been to reboot the box. To date we haven't experienced this issue with our main PVR which is an Arris box.

Call Optic TV Tech support and ask them to exchange your Technicolour to Arris.

Thanks but as mentioned in my original post I had an Arris box with this issue. I recently had Telus replace it and now the Technicolor box is doing the same thing. So it would appear to not be a hardware issue.
Just a long time customer hoping to help.
